How much experience do you have?

I have 12 years of professional experience as a web developer and software engineer in the UAE, across Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. Since December 2023 I've worked freelance from the Philippines, bringing the same standards to local and international clients.

Why did you move back to the Philippines?

After 12 years in the UAE, I decided to come home and stay for good. I moved back on 15 December 2023. Working freelance lets me live in the Philippines while still working with clients in the Gulf, Europe, the US and Australia.

Do you still work with clients in the UAE and overseas?

Yes. I work remotely with clients in the UAE, the wider Gulf, the UK, Europe, the United States and Australia, and schedule calls across time zones. International projects are quoted in US dollars.

Which technologies do you work with?

My core stack is Laravel and PHP for web applications, WordPress for content-managed websites, and Next.js and React for fast, modern front ends. For AI I integrate OpenAI, Qwen and Anthropic Claude, choosing the model that fits the task and budget.

Do you build with WordPress or Laravel?

Both, depending on the job. WordPress suits content-led sites that your team will edit every day. Laravel suits custom web applications, portals and APIs with business logic. I'll recommend one after understanding your goals, not before.

How do you use AI in your own work?

I use AI for research, first drafts, testing variants and automating repetitive tasks. Architecture, design decisions, code review and final copy are always done by me, so you get speed without losing judgement.
